Designed for firm-ground surfaces, the Nike Mercurial Vapor XVII Elite FG Soccer Cleats integrate an Air Zoom propulsion unit to support propulsive strides. This technology provides responsive lift aligned to world-class benchmarks, working alongside a wave-like traction pattern and cascading studs to maximize surface contact. The largest stud height matches the mid-row studs to maintain consistent traction during dynamic moves. Advanced studs feature evolved chevron and blade configurations that support acceleration, deceleration, and swift cuts.
The upper construction uses a full Flyknit material reinforced by Atomknit on the sides for additional support with reduced weight. This design creates the thinnest Mercurial upper available, allowing players to get closer to the ball and react faster. Nike Gripknit enhances ball touch capability at high speeds, while a micromolding texture forms to the foot for a secure grip regardless of weather conditions.
