The Nike Air Zoom unit delivers a burst of air for propulsive speed, helping you break through defenses and outrun the competition. A wave-like traction pattern with cascading studs engages more surface area to deliver grip during acceleration and rapid changes of direction.
The traction system uses evolved chevron and blade studs to support fast starts, sharp cuts, and controlled deceleration. The largest studs match the height of Nike's traditional middle studs to help maintain traction on demanding surfaces.
Nike Gripknit occupies more surface area for a sticky touch on the ball at high speeds, while micromolding texture adds a secure, responsive feel. The upper integrates full Flyknit with Atomknit on the sides for added support and reduced weight, making it the thinnest Mercurial upper to date.
